We are aware of the need for English Golden Retriever stud of the highest quality to be made available to the people that have invested time, and their hearts into their Golden Retrievers. A champion Golden Retriever stud that will help improve breeding lines as well as keeping the health, type, and of the resulting puppies at the highest possible level.
This line of thought has immeasurable valuable for our clients that purchase female and male puppies from us as well as Golden Retriever owners that are in need of a quality champion golden Retriever stud for any qualified Golden Retriever female. Please allow me at this time to explain a qualified female and why it is done this way.
To start I will state that we reserve the right to accept or refuse any female for breeding. And the only guarantee implied is a pregnancy with a refund of the amount of the stud fee that has been paid,or another A.I. attempt later if there is no pregnancy. Owners of the females are responsible for any and all veterinarian costs incurred.
Now: So what is a qualified female? First, the female does not have to be a "European " or "English" Golden to qualify.
A qualified female will be an AKC REGISTERED GOLDEN RETRIEVER female that has an OFA Hip rating of good or better, If she has an OFA rating of fair she may be considered if her parents have passing hip scores. Or the equivalent European hip score. Elbows, heart, and eyes must be certified. Copies of these certifications may be requested. ALSO the female must have one or more of the following, Be a champion herself, OR If she is not a champion then 1 parent must be a champion. A picture of the female must be submitted as well as copy of her pedigree for us to look at and this material is used as a consideration before a decision is made.
Why do we require this? It would be unfair to our present and future puppy clients, and our outside breeders to allow an increased chance for lessening the quality of our stud dogs offspring by breeding females that may or may not produce puppies that are of the desired values in the terms of health, temperament, type and overall beauty. While we understand this system may not be perfect we have to put in place some type of restrictions to make an effort to control quality in a fair and equal manner to all interested parties. This in no way means that females that do not meet these requirements are not quality animals, it simply gives us a tool to measure by.
How does all this work? After your female has been accepted, and depending on the time of her cycle, your vet will tell you when it is the optimum time to inseminate. Our vet will ship to your vet 2 chilled samples 3 if needed 1 day apart, this obviously is dependant on the time of week and availability of shipping. So you receive "2 breeding's" that are timed according to your vet for optimum fertility of the female. We do guarantee a pregnancy ( This is the entire guarantee )! if your female doesn't have a resulting litter the stud fee may be returned in full or you may reserve a breeding for the future. There is no guarantee for the number, or gender of the puppies. The stud fee will stand at $2,000.00 for "Singapore" with split payments of 1,000.00. The second payment is to be paid when the female is ultrasound as being pregnant at 6 weeks. The owner of the female is responsible for ALL of their own vet bills and we pay our vet bills. Breeding's are available to the lower continental US states only. Our Stud will be limited to 6 outside breeding's per year at this time. Please ask any questions you may have. Please note: We do not guarantee the marketability of the resulting puppies or warranty against any other potential problems that are related to breeding, raising, or selling puppies. We do not guarantee the safety or health of the female at any time. This is the females owners responsibility. The only guarantee implied in breeding an outside female is a pregnancy, which does not include the number or gender of the resulting puppies. All vet bills incurred are the responsibility of the owner of the female, except for the collection of the male and shipping of the collection to the female owners veterinarian.
