In the year 2008 we asked our contacts in Europe to find a Golden Retriever stud that, first, would be of unusual quality and rare in pedigree; a truly exceptional individual! This was not a small request. 1 year went by and we had no leads to such a Golden for our family and for our clients. THEN in the spring of 2009 we received a notice. "We Have Found The Boy! Buy Now!" We researched it quickly but thoroughly and found that the opportunity would be perfect, we decided to buy immediately. The female had not been bred yet, but if we were willing to commit, we would have first choice of the male puppy out of the litter that we had been looking for! When you take a look at Dodgers Pedigree you will understand why we are so thrilled that we did this for our clients and for our Golden family! We know that you will be too! He will arrive here in September 2010!

In the past few years we have become aware of the need for English or European Golden Retriever studs of the highest quality to be made available to the people that have invested time, and their hearts into their Golden Retrievers. A champion Golden Retriever stud that will help improve breeding lines as well as keeping the health, type, temperament, and value of the resulting puppies at the highest possible level.
This line of thought has immeasurable valuable for our clients that have purchase female puppies from us as well as Golden owners that are in need of a quality golden Retriever stud for any qualified female. Please allow me at this time to explain a qualified female and why it is done this way. To start I will state that we reserve the right to accept or refuse a female for breeding.
So what is a qualified female?
This will be an AKC REGISTERED GOLDEN RETRIEVER female that has an OFA HIP RATING OF GOOD OR BETTER, A PENNHIP RATING OF 80% OR BETTER, OR AN Imported European Golden WITH THE EQUIVELLENT OF AN HD-A HIP AND ED-O RATINGS. Copies of these certifications must be made available to us. ALSO the female must have one or more of the following, Be a champion herself and 1 parent a champion, OR If she is not a champion then 1 parent and 2 grand parents need to be champions. A picture of the female must be submitted as well as copy of her pedigree for us to look at the overall quality before a decision is made.
Why do we require this?
It would be unfair to our clients and our outside breeders to risk the chance of lessening the quality of our stud dogs offspring by breeding females that may or may not produce puppies that are of the desired values in the terms of health, temperament, type and overall beauty. While this system may not be perfect we have to put in place some type of restrictions that control quality in a fair and equal manner to all interested parties. This in no way means that females that do not meet these standards are not quality animals, it simply gives us a tool to measure by.
How does all this work? After a female is qualified and depending on the time of her cycle, your vet will tell you when it is the optimum time to inseminate. Our vet will ship to your vet 2 chilled samples 1 day apart so you receive "2 breeding's" that are timed according to your vet for optimum fertility of the female. We do guarantee a pregnancy ( This is the entire guarantee )! if your female doesn't have a resulting litter the stud fee may be returned in full. There is no guarantee for the number, or gender of the puppies. The stud fee will stand at $2,000.00 US dollars. $1,000.00 paid in advance an the second payment of $1,000.00 to be paid when the female is ultrasound as being pregnant at 6 weeks. The owner of the female is responsible for ALL OF their own vet bills and we pay our vet bills. Breeding's are available to the lower continental US states only. Our Studs will be limited to 6 outside breeding's per year at this time. "Dodger" will not be available until November of 2010.
