How does the choice or holding process work?
A $500 deposit will hold your puppy until they are 8-9 weeks old when they are ready and eager to head out into the world and join their new families! The deposit holds your "choice position".
Is transportation available throughout the United States?
Yes, nationwide shipping is available for those living long distances from South Dakota. We are very experienced with canine shipping and the puppy's welfare and safety is a top priority with us. We deal with only qualified airlines to assure that every puppy arrives in the fastest manner on the best flight possible. We guarantee that your new family member will arrive safely.
What is the difference between a full or a limited registration when buying a Golden Retriever?
The definition of limited registration from AKC is as follows: Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but litters produced by that dog are ineligible for registration. In addition, a limited dog cannot compete in conformation show events. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event, including Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility, Rally, and Earthdog.
A full registration allows you to breed, register, and show offspring of your dog according to AKC guidelines and rules.

Why are there some limited and some full registrations when purchasing a Golden Retriever?
The main reason we would limit the number of full registrations on some litters is to maintain the integrity of the Golden Retriever breed. It's our philosophy to take the best of the litter to carry on the genetic line of the breed. However In well bred litters, the difference between a breeding quality puppy and a pet is very minimal if any. In Reality you will find that in very high quality litters this difference will usually come down to the personal preferences in the individual doing the picking.
What is the price for shipping and what does it include when buying a Golden Retriever?
The price for shipping is normally $350.00 but may vary slightly under special circumstances. It includes flying your puppy to most local airports in the continental US; we most commonly use Continental airlines, as they have a climate controlled area that they use for animals, and are very diligent about keeping them happy and healthy on their trip. The purchase also includes a heavy duty plastic kennel with wire doors and ventilation on all four sides. However if you choose to drive part way and have us meet you with the puppy there will be a charge for mileage, gas, and time. If the puppy is picked up in SD there will be a sales tax charge.
How much is the deposit to hold a puppy?
A $500 deposit will hold your new puppy. And is refundable if the litter does not have the puppy you wanted , male or female.
When is full payment due when I purchase a Golden Retriever?
We require full payment 14 days ahead of travel date for personal checks, or 10 days ahead of travel date for PayPal.
