Ted Ellenbecker has broken over 70 state and world line class fishing records registered with the Hall of Fame and the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), covering 12 species of fish! Two of the most notable groups of records fall in the Channel Catfish division (rod and reel), with the 2 lb. line class world record at 21.8 lb., and the 6 lb. line class world record at 25 lb.! A third record breaker is a 19.8 lb. musky taken on 2 lb. line, doubling the old record that stood for 15 years.
In 1999, Ted was nominated to the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame as a Legendary Angler. Ted's major efforts have included a fishing tips show on fox, and inclusions in segments of the North American Fisherman's Educational Videos.
